Today we visited Dachau, the first Nazi concentration camp. Opened in 1933, it became the model for a system of terror that spread across Europe. Standing at the gate, walking through the barracks, and seeing the crematorium — it’s a haunting reminder of what hatred can lead to. A place of suffering, but also of remembrance.
