Anaheim’s Ambulance Operators have concluded their two week academy. Congratulations on being part of Anaheim’s first Ambulance Operator Academy. Thank you to the Anaheim Firefighters Association for providing today’s lunch. Our new emergency medical transportation program will begin its two phase transition with phase one beginning Friday, September 3rd. Phase two will take place next year with ambulances 2, 5, 9 and 11. CARE will continue its partnership until the transition process is complet

This past Monday, the Engine 5 crew welcomed students from Mito, Japan, to tour Station 5.Did you know Mito, Japan, has been Anaheim’s sister city since 1976?Mito, Japan, is located 70 miles north of Tokyo and is the Plum Blossom Capital. The City of Anaheim hosts annual student exchange visits from Mito.
