Rowan & Martin’s Laugh-In aired for six seasons, and while some of its humor hasn’t aged particularly well, it was subversive and groundbreaking for its time. You can see its DNA in everything from SNL (Lorne Michaels actually was a writer on the first full season) to The Daily Show to Monty Python and even the (actually fantastic) Canadian kidz bop carbon copy version, “You Can’t Do That On Television.” It was most of the world’s introduction to icons like Ruth Buzzy, Henry Gibson, Goldie Hawn,
