Bao Er Cafe which started as a humble Balestier shop, has opened a NEW Fortune Centre outlet (not too far from Bugis, same row as Yat Ka Yan). Saw some new items like Peanut Toast, Beef Hor Fun, and Pasta with Chicken Chop. The Peanut Toast is not officially in the menu yet, but you can ask. The bread was crisp and the peanut butter had a good mix of crunch and creaminess. I still lean back to old favourites like the Bee Hoon with Har Jeong Chic Wing, which has that smoky wok hei.
