Aurifil Artisan Andrea of The Domesticated Engineer took her travel iron bag to the next level with an amazing DIY upgrade! By deconstructing the original bag and using it as a template, she crafted a beautiful quilted version entirely from fabric scraps. 🌟 Andrea repurposed the existing zipper, pieced the bag together with Aurifil’s Forty3 (40wt/3ply), and added intricate quilting using a mix of Forty3 and 50wt threads. To finish, she hand-sewed the binding along the zipper with Aurifil Floss.
