This old china cabinet was too large, dated and had plastic adornments that needed to just be gone. . We separated the top from the base, took off the top embellishment (which was plastic), and sanded the bones. . We knew we wanted to build a new base for it to give it some height but didn’t want it to feel bulky and heavy. Our plan for it was a nice display case for books, china, or whatever treasures needed a modern looking place to be stored. The bottom shelf is also nice for more display spa
