Fresh air, frozen lakes, and boots on the trail. Today’s First Hike of the Year at John Muir Memorial County Park reminded us that winter doesn’t slow things down in Marquette County. It just makes the views better. Snowy stretches of the Ice Age Trail, peaceful scenery, and a great group of hikers, including friends who made the trip over from Madison, made for a pretty solid way to kick off the year. Cold temps, warm smiles, and a few frozen beards to prove it. It’s in our nature. #MarquetteCo
