Sunday Boat Stories: Discover the captivating history of CATSPAW, a small catboat designed by the renowned Bill Garden. Created later in his life, Garden sought to compete with Beetle Cats while ensuring comfort for his older frame. When he could no longer sail it, he generously gifted CATSPAW to Maynard Bray, a wooden boat expert and former Mystic Seaport Museum curator, who later donated it to the collection. CATSPAW will be featured in the Wells Boat Hall exhibit coming in the fall of 2025! H
