This 1942 advert is one of the first appearances of Bertie, the brand’s famous Aeroplane mascot, who is still featured in packaging today. The commercial’s song was first written back in 1932 and performed using the vocals of three-year-old Jennifer Paykel. The commercial was broadcast live, requiring Jennifer to sing the song
