News Release Wilmington Police Department Saturday, January 15, 2022 THREE PEOPLE PASS AWAY FOLLOWING SHOOTING This afternoon, shortly after 4 p.m., WPD units responded to a shooting in the 1300 block of Military Cutoff Road in Wilmington. Upon arrival, officers discovered that three people had been shot. They succumbed to their injuries on scene. The suspect was transported to NHRMC and is currently being treated for a self-inflicted gunshot wound. At this point, we do not know the motive which
