The Monkees was a TV series that ran from 1966-1968. The show and the group's formation were inspired by The Beatles. Two of its stars were born on December 30, Robert MICHAEL Nesmith (December 30, 1942 – December 10, 2021), a Texas native who enjoyed a career as a songwriter after the show left the air, and whose mother invented Liquid Paper, and David Thomas Jones (30 December 1945 – 29 February 2012), an English performer who happened to be on The Ed Sullivan Show the night The Beatles made t
