Loved it! Sandler and crew pulled off a sequel that was JUST AS GOOD as the first HT. Everything is going GREAT! The Hotel has never been more happy Aaaaand,.with the arrival of a little bundle of joy for Grandrac to fawn over just puts the Hotel into high gear. Everyone wants to see this new Grandson of the Prince of darkness. Will the new bambino take after Mom...Mr Pop? Vampire? Maybe. HUMAN!? Maybe ....well....we don't know yet. But no matter, fun and celebrating and Ghosties Goulies, creepies, crawlies, ALL bask in the happiness of the joy present in the huge hotel. All the old patrons are there. Even humans! And they get into the swing of things too! Those parts are SERIOUSLY funny..But here's the rub...no matter how much coaching and lovingly spooky stuff Drac tries to teach his new Grandson in order for the little guy to grow up to be a fine... "monster" or a "creature of the night" but no matter what Grandrac does, it's no use. So... Mavy wants to raise the baby as ...ack!...HUMAN!!?? So the desperation is ratcheted up a few turns as Grandrac takes some drastic measures. I loved it!! There is a star studded cast doing the voice work. I think it's the best American animation that's come out in a while.

This is the 2nd movie. The hotel is finally opened to monsters and humans alike and everyone seems to be happy. Dennis, the half -vampire, half- human son of Mavis and Johnny is growing up under the watchful eye of his grandpa, "Vampa" Drac. While Drac is worried that Dennis has yet to show his vampire side, Mavis is worried that Dennis is too far removed from his human side. Seizing the chance to visit her human in-laws to see if they want to move there, Mavis and Johnny embarks into a small journey into the human world to Mavis' delight. Drac on his end seizes his chance to develop Dennis's vampire side under the pretense of babysitting him at the hotel. Of course, it becomes a fun and scary adventure for both Mavis and Johnny as well as Drac, Dennis and the clicque. The movie is as fun and adventures filled as the first movie, painting a hilarious image of the human and vampire world both.... Which side will Dennis chose? This movie is great because under all the fun and adventure it also has a good moral : it shows a blended family with two complete different cultures who will eventually learn not only how to accept but also embrace and live with differences without judging or compromising the other one.

Absolutely love Hotel Transylvania so as soon as I saw it was available for pre order I ordered it I buy the combo pack I give a friend with 3 little ones the dvd I give another friend with 3 more little ones the blu ray and I have the digital copy on my vudu acct and was very excited about the insta watch usually it is available on vudu to buy weeks before it is released on dvd and so when that happens Walmart emails and says that the digital copy is available on vudu because my walmart and vudu are tied together that is a really great reason to do the pre order but this time very disappointed it has been available on vudu for over a week now and I have yet to receive my email letting me know it is available so last night I broke down and purchased it on vudu and if it continues to happen like this I will just buy the digital copy on vudu and not worry about ordering or buying it from walmart

Hotel Transylvania 2 is a 2015 American 3D computer animated fantasy-comedy film. The film is the sequel to the 2012 film Hotel Transylvania. Hotel Transylvania 2 takes place seven years after the first film, with the hotel now open to human guests. Mavis and Johnny have a young son named Dennis, whose lack of any vampire abilities worries his grandfather Dracula. When Mavis and Johnny go on a visit to Johnny's parents, Dracula calls his friends to help him make Dennis a vampire. However, an unexpected visit from Dracula's old-school human-hating dad, Vlad soon turns things upside-down. As an adult I quite enjoyed watching this excellent movie. If you are looking for real Comedy/Adventure movie with perfect action from start to finish then you should see this masterpiece movie.

My family loved the first movie so when we saw that the second one was going to come out in dvd we ordered it as soon as it came out and we are glad we did, it is super funny and fun, we have seen it so many times i already lost count, we really recommend it, if you liked the first one you will love the second one, and i love that once you buy a dvd at walmart you can download it at vudu and see it whenever you go so i play the movies on my phone when i go to doctor appointments or on long trips and this movie is one of them.

This was a fantastic buy for the family especially for fans of Adam Sandlers softer side and Universal monster fans! My wife and kids stayed entertained by the love story centering around Draculas daughter and her human husband as well as the birth and childhood of their first born. Great action and surprises kept me interested and a nice little surprise that was telegraphed played out well. I want to see a third movie to this series that deals with Dennis and Winni set as young adults.

I love watching movies with my children in this style. \nI needed the Hotel Transylvania 2 in digital. \nFrom this year on, I started making my favorite movies on digital to watch at home and on DVD to watch in the car for entertainment on the road. \nI was upset when I opened the packaging because I found the digital code with an expired date, but after entering it into the APP there was no problem, the digital code worked very well. \nWe are waiting for number 4.

I loved the original Hotel Transylvania and when I saw this I think I liked it even more. It probably doesn't hurt that I am father to a 4 year old boy. We both love watching it, my son pretends to be Dennis and he makes me be Drac. His favorite part is the "blah, blah, blah" scene which also gives me a chuckle but I enjoy any scene with Blobby. If you have any kids or no kids, I think this movie has a good story and lots of genuine laughs.

Okay, I have a 3 yr old who watches the same movies over and over again. The first Hotel Transylvania is one of the VERY few that I am not sick of! It is still funny to me. We watched this new one last night and it ranks right up there with the first. My son LOVES it (he actually wanted to watch it again right afterwards) and more importantly my wife and I loved it. It is very funny and has enough "hidden humor" to keep us giggling as well.

This movie was a great reminder of when our children were little and we read the book "Cloudy with a Chance fof Meatballs". Even though there were pictures in the book and the girls used their vivid imaginations to add other things falling from the sky, the writer of the movie must have been using his childhood imagination to come up with all he did - it was great. I purchased one for myself and one for our daughter, son-in-law and granddaughter -

My two boys loved the first Hotel Transylvania so it was a no brainier for us to both go to the theatre to see this and bring it home for our in home theatre. It is an Adam Sandler movie and voiced by a lot of SNL and buddies of his from other movies. Lots of inside jokes for the adults and cute funniness for the kids. We still say "I don't say blah blah blah." Great voice acting, great animation and just fun monster madness.

I absolutely LOVE this series of movies (okay, there are only 2 at the moment with a third on the way), and decided to pick up theblu-ray to add to my collection. Loved the movie still, only complaint is that some studios force you into the "ultraViolet" streaming garbage.... You have to stream the digital movie - you cna't download it to a device, but otherwise a great DVD!

My sister rented out this movie from the RedBox at Walmart for my nephews and the oldest absolutely loved it!! He actually cried when she told him that we had to take it back. So I just decided to get it for him and he was soo happy!! And if he's happy, I'm happy. :) But it is an awesome movie, both the kids and the adults will enjoy it. :)

So hilarious I couldn't stop myself from laughing!!! Both animated movies are fantastic!! I love Hotel Transylvania!! ❤ I'm going to have to buy the third one Summer Vacation. I highly recommend Hotel Transylvania for anybody regardless if they have children or not. Loads of fun and the laughs are practically non stop.

I love, love, love this movie. It is really great. And my daughter loves it too. HAha. It is way better in Blu-ray, but I got this one as gift for someone I wasn't sure if they had a Blu-ray player or not. There are some scenes where the colors will just blow you away. So pretty in Blu-ray. Buy one for everyone.!! :)

Have patiently awaited this additional to the 'Hotel Transylvania ' franchise. Well worth the wait. Thoroughly enjoyed the movie. Hoping they add a fourth. It would be interesting to see Drac as a new parent and Mavis with a sibling. But don't wait to long, I'm going on 75 years now. "Just saying".

These movies are great! My 4-year old daughter watches both over and over again. We bought these 2 in preparation for watching HT3 which is in theaters right now. Both movies will have you laughing non-stop! Highly recommend it!

Watched last night and loved it, so funny, although I thought it was not like the first it definitely had its laughs and the cast is awesome. If you're like me you'll be hoping little Dennis gets his Vampire fangs.
