You can start flying anonymously, without a user account, in GeoFS. When authenticated using the Facebook and Google login buttons, you will be assigned a GeoFS account. That will allow you to set a call-sign and chat on the multiplayer server.

Global and accessible for free in GeoFS, this data set is still a demo: availability and conditions may change. per year. You can subscribe to GeoFS HD to fly with, global, high resolution (sub-meter) Microsoft Bing Maps aerial imagery. These images are particularly suitable for VFR flight.
