WASHINGTON (AP) — President Donald Trump said Monday during talks with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and European leaders that a potential ceasefire and who gets Ukrainian territory seized by Russia should be hashed out during a face-to-face meeting between the warring countries' two leaders.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said on Saturday he spoke one-on-one with Trump on the phone for an hour, calling the conversation "substantive."

With him is a letter he had brought for Melania Trump, thanking her for a letter she sent to Putin on Friday, raising the plight of Ukrainian children kidnapped by Russia.
