Jonathan India hit a tiebreaking double in Kansas City’s two-run seventh inning, and the Royals beat the Chicago White Sox 7-5 to avoid a series sweep.
The Chicago White Sox won 4-1 on Saturday to secure their 1st series victory against the Kansas City Royals since May 19-21, 2023. Tim Elko and Chase Meidroth homered in the win.
The White Sox placed left-handed pitcher Jared Shuster on the 15-day injured list ahead of Sunday's game against the Kansas City Royals. Shuster, 26, has a blister on his left hand, and his stint is retroactive to Thursday.
