South Africa’s Aimee Barrett-Theron will referee the Women’s Rugby World Cup 2025 opening match between hosts England and USA in Sunderland on 22 August.

Eight teams will be vying to win the region's ticket to Australia as champions of the Rugby Africa Men's Cup 2025, with games taking place across three days in Kampala from 8-19 July.
