The Houston Rockets are shutting down second-year guard Reed Sheppard after two NBA Summer League games and will hold him out of Monday's game against Atlanta and Thursday's game against Portland.

There seem to be some real positives to his game, but he shot just 6/19 from the field against the Pistons.
