NASCAR driver Carson Hocevar drew backlash from his fellow racers on Sunday because of his over-aggressive driving during the Ambetter Health 400.

Carson Hocevar didn’t win many friends in Atlanta on his way to a second-place finish at the Ambetter Health 400. The likes of Kyke Busch, Ryan Blaney, and Ross Chastain have publicly bashed the Spire Motorsports driver for his reckless stunts at the Atlanta Motor Speedway.

Carson Hocevar walked away from the season’s second NASCAR Cup race with two things – his best career finish and a line of unhappy fellow competitors. Since the checkered-flag waved on his runner-up finish to Christopher Bell at Atlanta Motor Speedway, the 22-year-old driver has issued apologies to Ryan Blaney and Rick Hendrick.

Ryan Blaney and Ross Chastain both approached Hocevar on pit road post-race. Hocevar had made contact with Blaney to send him spinning earlier in the final stage, and the driver of the No. 12 Ford worked his way back to a fourth-place finish.

It wasn't just one NASCAR Cup Series driver who was furious with second-year pro Carson Hocevar. After finishing second at the Ambetter Health 400 at Atlanta Motor Speedway, Hocevar was confronted by both Ross Chastain and Ryan Blaney.

Carson Hocevar drew plenty of attention on the racetrack at Atlanta this weekend, irking a few different drivers, including some, like Ross Chastain, who confronted him after the race.
