Gotham is expanding in "The Penguin" and that means a lot of familiar names, but new faces. In some cases, it means new names too. Premiering on HBO on Thursday, September 19, "The Penguin" takes place just a few weeks after the events of "The Batman,

The Penguin takes the byway of streaming, to tell the story of the power grab by Oz Cobb and Gotham after the catastrophic deluge. Right off the bat, The Penguin is a by-product of The Batman, and Reeves' DC expansion.

The helmer breaks down his journey on the show, which may (or may not) have begun when he wrote to Reeves: "this was the superhero movie I wanted to see right now."
