Attorney General Ken Paxton seeks to hold Beto O'Rourke in contempt for violating a temporary restraining order by continuing to fundraise, disregarding the legal consequences outlined by a Texas judge.

Ken Paxton says Beto O’Rourke violated a Tarrant County judge’s order after he continued to fundraise for Texas House Democrats in Fort Worth on Saturday.

"[H]e still thinks he’s above the law, so I’m working to put him behind bars," the Texas attorney general said.
