The house, which stood at 4 Burleigh Street in Burwood, Sydney, was added to the New South Wales National Trust's Register of Historic Houses in 2013 and has been knocked down by Burwood Square Pty Ltd to make way for multi-million dollar homes.

Following outrage from AC/DC fans over the demolition of the home Angus and Malcolm Young once lived in, the construction company has apologised. Construction company Burwood Square purchased the home at 4 Burleigh St in the inner west Sydney suburb of Burwood for $5.8 million in February 2023.
