Tyrese Haliburton hit the game-winner and delivered a message to Pascal Siakam as the Pacers stunned the Thunder in Game 1 in the NBA Finals.

Pascal Siakam has been a main contributor and one of the driving forces for the Indiana Pacers during their NBA Finals run.

The Indiana Pacers stole Game 1 of the NBA Finals on Thursday night, 111-110. Tyrese Haliburton hit the game winner with 0.3 seconds remaining in the fourth quarter to make everyone forget that he played what Richard Jefferson had called a "tour date" minutes earlier.

Siakam beat Tyrese Haliburton by one vote to bag the ECF MVP trophy, 5-4. The one-time NBA champion finished the series averaging 24.8 points, 5.0 rebounds, 3.5 assists and 1.3 steals per game. He was the Pacers' most consistent offensive force, putting up double-digits in all six games — including three 30-point outings.

The Pascal Siakam trade has aged extremely well — for Indiana. After leading the Pacers to the NBA Finals and winning the Eastern Conference Finals MVP, Siakam has reminded fans of his elite two-way play, averaging 21.1 points and 5.8 rebounds on 53.7 percent from the field and 46.3% from three in the playoffs.
