The Northwestern Wildcats will visit the Michigan Wolverines on Sunday in Big Ten action. The Wolverines have dominated this series in recent years, winning eight of 10 head-to-head meetings while covering the spread in six of those matchups.

"It's just about stay the course and find a way to win ugly," Michigan basketball coach Dusty May said. "This experience ... will help us."

The teams continued to slug it out and trade leads during a back-and-forth finish to regulation. Michigan took the lead twice in the final three minutes, the last time on a driving layup by Gayle for a 65-63 edge with 34 seconds remaining.
