Kevin Costner will soon be back on television screens in a new Yellowstone project. No, Costner is not reprising his role as John Dutton in a “Yellowstone” prequel or spinoff from Taylor Sheridan. Instead, he’s hosting a three-part limited docuseries about Yellowstone National Park.

Many great movies came out of the company, which was renamed Tree House Films in 2008, including Dances With Wolves, which Costner directed and starred in. The film was nominated for 12 Academy Awards and won seven, including two for Costner, who won Best Picture and Best Director.

The series, 'Yellowstone to Yosemite with Kevin Costner,' will see the actor tracing the 1903 Yosemite expedition of Teddy Roosevelt and environmental advocate John Muir.
