At the scene, deputies discovered Cedric Wolter's vehicle in the median. He was dead by the time deputies reached him.

The fire started just before 4 p.m. Sunday at a warehouse in the area of Interstate 70 and Tower Road. Smoke was visible from across Denver and Aurora.
