Coco Gauff added another big title to her resume on Saturday by capturing her first WTA Finals title after beating Qinwen Zheng in a three-set thriller, 3–6, 6–4, 7–6.

Coco Gauff has wrapped up her season as well as possible. She won the WTA Finals and the $4.8 million check that came with the trophy and defeated the women ranked Nos. 1 and 2 along the way.

Coco Gauff did not win a Grand Slam this season, but she might have learned more lessons in defeat. After an up-and-down season, Gauff went back to the drawing board and changed coaches after the US Open.
