SUNRISE, Fla. -- Aaron Ekblad and Seth Jones scored within a span of 11 seconds late in the third period, and the Florida Panthers defeated the Tampa Bay Lightning 4-2 in Game 4 of the Eastern Conference First Round at Amerant Bank Arena on Monday.

Game 4 between the Florida Panthers and Tampa Bay Lightning produced one of the wildest sequences of the Stanley Cup Playoffs through Monday and an all-time record. The game started slowly, with a scoreless first period and the Panthers' Anton Lundell opening the scoring nine minutes into the second period.

The Panthers and Lightning made NHL history in Game 4, becoming the first teams to each score two goals within 11 seconds in a playoff game.
