Here’s what’s closing and staying open for now at Dinoland USA
Many had long speculated that a Dinoland U.S.A. closure was coming. In March 2020, Primeval Whirl, a steel Wild Mouse roller coaster, closed permanently and was not replaced with a new ride. As was also shared at the D23 Expo in 2023, Disney Experiences Chairman Josh D’Amaro said Dinoland was being reimagined into something completely different.
Disney to start demolition of DinoLand U.S.A. at Animal Kingdom
Disney has filed a notice to start demolition work in DinoLand U.S.A. as part of a major overhaul. Closures begin Jan. 13, with the TriceraTop Spin and Fossil Fun Games set to be shut down first.
