The Atlanta Hawks and State Farm welcomed 6,000 volunteers to the award-winning State Farm Arena to pack more than one million meals, setting a record time as part of the 2024 Million Meal Pack initiative.

On Saturday, thousands of people packed State Farm Arena — but they weren’t there to see a game. Instead, the crowd’s goal was to pack 1 million meals in one day.

On Monday afternoon, the Atlanta Hawks and State Farm Arena, in partnership with Georgia Natural Gas, hosted a Sustainability Summit for local restauranteurs.

More than 6,000 volunteers filled State Farm Arena on Saturday to fight hunger in metro Atlanta. They packed more than a million meals to distribute throughout the region. This is the fourth year the Atlanta Hawks have teamed up with State Farm Arena for the Million Meal Pack.
