“Pearl” wasn’t just a hit with critics either, audiences also loved this blood-specked horror-thriller. It’s got an 83% viewers score on Rotten Tomatoes, which is particularly strong when you consider its often bleak tone and almost dark climax.

Celebrated by critics, the film currently has a 98% rating on Rotten Tomatoes with an average score of 8.7 out of 10, making it one of the highest-rated films of recent times. The Father was celebrated for its depiction of the confusion and fear that dementia patients can suffer from, while Sir Anthony was lauded for his heartbreaking performance.

The initial eight episodes were given a rare score of 100% on Rotten Tomatoes, and viewers regularly took to social media to share their love for the clever show. As time went on, many lost hope they’d ever get to see the story continue after AMC pulled season two and removed season one from the platform.

The third season of Reacher has now begun on Prime Video with a three episode premiere. The new outing, based on Lee Child's seventh Jack Reacher novel Persuader, has already broken a record for the action thriller too.
