The Detroit Lions have plenty of talent to work with on defense in Kelvin Sheppard's first season as coordinator, including familiar faces Aidan Hutchinson, Derrick Barnes and others on the verge of returning to regular season action from injury.

Two more defensive players had to leave practice early on Thursday, this time it was Terrion Arnold and Derrick Barnes.

The Lions have a pair of injury concerns coming out of Thursday's practice, though the severity of each injury is currently unclear.
