As fans know, Detroit has been searching for an everyday option at third for a few seasons now, hence their offseason pursuit of Alex Bregman. Bregman ultimately chose to join the Boston Red Sox, which enraged the Detroit faithful amid his hot start to the 2025 MLB campaign.
But one move would be a dream scenario for the Tigers. Zachary D. Rymer of Bleacher Report proposed a trade for the Tigers that would land Boston Red Sox third baseman Alex Bregman. In return, Rymer has Detroit giving up Alex Cobb and Josue Briceno.
The Detroit Tigers are performing very well heading into the All-Star break with a massive lead currently in the American League Central.
