Each summer, several bands and artists come and go from the Ruoff Music Center in Noblesville, performing for their Central Indiana fans. In recent years, one band has become a constant presence at the venue each season.

The legendary jam band — with 49 shows behind it at Saratoga Performing Arts Center — is a summer staple at SPAC, its loyal fans having set the record for most sold-out shows at the 25,000-person venue — not surprising for a band that has sold 38 million albums and more than 25 million concert tickets since debuting in the 1990s.

Recently, Dave Matthews Band have been helping in fundraising efforts for California wildfire victims. The band pledged $500,000 to support wildfire relief efforts through Bama Works, the band’s nonprofit, and lead vocalist Dave Matthews will perform with John Mayer at the FireAid benefit concert on Thursday.
