Kate Middleton and Prince William shared a smile during Commonwealth Day services at Westminster Abbey on Monday, March 10.

It goes without saying that Westminster Abbey is a place that holds great meaning for the Prince and Princess of Wales: After all, Prince William and Kate Middleton tied the knot there in 2011. It’s also home to Kate’s annual “Together at Christmas” concert and where they toasted King Charles’s coronation—a moment that placed them next in line to the throne—back in 2023.

King Charles III and Catherine, Princess of Wales have attended the annual Commonwealth Day service, a year after both were forced to cancel because they were receiving cancer treatment. The event at Westminster Abbey on Monday celebrated the Commonwealth's "powerful influence for good in the world".

The Princess of Wales joined members of the royal family at Westminster Abbey on Monday, March 10, to celebrate Commonwealth Day. As part of the service, Kate and Prince William processed behind King Charles and Queen Camilla. They were followed by Anne, Princess Royal, as well as the Duke and Duchess of Gloucester.

Catherine, Princess of Wales, joined Britain’s King Charles III and other members of the royal family in celebrating Commonwealth Day on Monday, attending an event at London’s Westminster Abbey filled with performances from countries across the association.

Princess Kate is attending her first Commonwealth Day service at Westminster Abbey in two years after missing last year's event due to her cancer treatment. King Charles was also unable to attend the annual celebration in 2024,

Princess Catherine was unable to attend the event last year after revealing her shocking cancer diagnosis. According to People Magazine, the Princess of Wales will reconnect with
