Louisville basketball's win streak continues, with the Cardinals taking down SMU on the road Tuesday night.An equal effort from Louisville on both ends of the ball, but it was the Louisville defense that smothered SMU in the first half.

After two games on the road, SMU is heading back home. They and the Louisville Cardinals will face off in an ACC battle at 9:00 p.m. ET on Tuesday at Moody Coliseum. The Mustangs are expected to win (but not by much) so they better bring their A-game into this one.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — The University of Louisville men's basketball team is climbing the rankings after throttling SMU last week. The Cardinals (15-5, 8-1 ACC) were ranked No. 21 in Monday's AP Top 25 poll, up four spots from last week. This is the highest the team has been ranked since they were 16th in January 2021.

The forward has dealt with a broken thumb for the last month, and had to sit the Cardinals' previous game vs. Virginia.
