Jamie Oleksiak scored the go-ahead goal in the second period, and Adam Larsson and Jared McCann added scores in the third as the Seattle Kraken beat the Buffalo Sabres 6-4. John Hayden, Chandler Stephenson and Matty Beniers also scored for the Kraken.

Oleksiak's goal at the 16:34 mark snapped a 3-all tie and came less than a minute after Buffalo's Tage Thompson scored to erase a two-goal deficit.

The Sabres staged a comeback in the second period, tying the score at 3-3 on goals from Jason Zucker and Thompson. Once again, the Kraken responded quickly, with defenseman Jamie Oleksiak pinching down from the offensive blue line to bury a one-timer just 56 seconds after Thompson had scored the tying goal.
