Wolf Fire initially started 3:09 p.m. June 29 in Riverside County, California. Since its discovery three days ago, it has burned 2,414 acres. A fire crew of 1,080 succeeded in containing 50% of the fire as of Wednesday evening. However, the cause is still being investigated.

As of Tuesday afternoon, just the Wolf Fire in Riverside County still had mandatory evacuations in place. Three of the seven were still at 50% or less containment and burned more than 20 acres as of Tuesday. Located near Banning, the Wolf Fire has burned about 2,414 acres since it started on Sunday afternoon. As of Tuesday, containment was at 30%.

Cooler temperatures and humidity are helping firefighters fight the fire, which nearly doubled in size since Monday afternoon.
