The United States Postal Service's stamp price increase will go into effect on Sunday, July 13. Here's how much they'll cost.
The United States Postal Service released new stamps at the Great American Stamp Show Thursday to celebrate the Boston 2026 World Expo, May 23-30, 2026.
The options are varied and include fun choices like Star Wars droids, Disney villains, Mister Rogers, and even Bugs Bunny-themed stamps. Other options celebrate major American milestones and historic events, like the Transcontinental Railroad and the Emancipation Proclamation of 1863.
“The 18th stamp in the Distinguished Americans series honors humanitarian Elie Wiesel (1928-2016), a survivor of Nazi concentration camps whose dozens of works bore witness to the Holocaust and whose resilience and compassion continue to be a source of inspiration,” a description for the stamp on the USPS website reads.
The late President Jimmy Carter is to be honoured with a commemorative Forever stamp on what would have been his 101st birthday. The US Postal Service will release the stamp for purchase on October 1 in Atlanta. It features a 1982 portrait of the nation’s 39th president by Herbert E. Abrams.
The postal service said the "price adjustments are needed to achieve the financial stability sought by the organization's Delivering for America 10-year plan."
