Tropical Storm Dexter is moving further away from the East Coast, but it's still causing waves along the Delmarva coastline. Dexter is moving into the North Atlantic, away from North America. It will strengthen and become an extratropical low later today through Friday. The cyclone is forecast to weaken beginning Friday night and Saturday.

The Delmarva peninsula will continue to feel the impact of Tropical Storm Dexter for the next two days as the tropical cyclone continues its northeast journey in the Atlantic.
