Mohamed Sabry Soliman, a 45-year-old Egyptian immigrant who officials say was living in the U.S. illegally after overstaying a tourist visa, also faces a federal hate crime count.

Mohamed Soliman, the suspect accused of attacking a group of protesters with Molotov cocktails in Boulder, Colorado, appeared in federal court for a hate crime charge. He is also facing various state crime charges for the attack that left 15 people injured.

Following Sunday's antisemitic attack in Boulder, the Jewish community has come together to support each other, and one of the places that's been an anchor is the Boulder Jewish Community Center. Christian faith leaders gathered at the site of the Boulder terror attack to pray and show solidarity with the city's Jewish community.
