The Snoop Dogg reveal comes off the back of a string of big-name international acts starring as entertainment on AFL Grand Final Day, with Katy Perry wowing the crowd last year, while Robbie Williams, Kiss and The Killers have also all featured on the line-up.

The announcement marks Snoop Dogg’s performance debut at the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG) for what’s set to be one of the most memorable Grand Final spots in AFL history. While Snoop Dogg has been confirmed, additional Australian acts will be announced closer to the event.

Snoop Dogg is confirmed to perform at this year’s grand final. He’ll be the third US performer at the league’s biggest day in a row. But there’s one homegrown act the league has not yet been able to secure.
