The Los Angeles Chargers defeated the Detroit Lions in the Hall of Fame Game as quarterback Trey Lance completed 12 of 20 passes competing for the backup position.

The Hall of Fame game featured a lot of good looks at the Los Angeles Chargers, as the team steamrolled the Detroit Lions with a final score of 34-7. Though most of the players that took the field are backups, third, and fourth-stringers, there was a lot to like about the Chargers.
