The National Weather Service's warning about the “particularly dangerous situation” in which any new fire could explode in size in the Los Angeles area didn’t mention fire tornadoes.

Since multiple fires ignited across various communities in Los Angeles County last week, tens of thousands were forced to evacuate, more than 12,000 homes were destroyed or damaged and at least 24 people have been killed.

Jan. 15 A new wildfire was reported today at 4:03 a.m. in Los Angeles County. The wildfire has been burning on private land. Currently, there is no information on the containment of the fire and the cause of it has yet to be determined.
