Knicks center Karl-Anthony Towns has a bone chip in his right thumb to go along with the sprain he suffered in Monday's loss, sources confirmed.

When Towns joined his teammates on the visiting team’s bench at the Wells Fargo Center, he stood out like a sore thumb. Rocking Kelly green colors, it was easy to see Towns was representing the Philadelphia Eagles.

PHILADELPHIA — The word became official about 90 minutes before game time, but was predictable nearly 48 hours earlier that Karl-Anthony Towns would be out of action Wednesday night as the Knicks took on the Philadelphia 76ers at the Wells Fargo Center.
