Ukrainian defenders continue to firmly resist the enemy's attempts to advance deeper into our territory. Instead, they are delivering effective fire strikes against the enemy, reports the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

On January 23, Russia launched two attacks on the regional capital, killing one person and wounding five others, including a two-month-old child. More than 20,000 people there were left without electricity and heat after drones destroyed the local energy facility.

According to "Meduza" and "BBC," over 90,000 Russian soldiers have been identified as killed in the war in Ukraine. Among the identified are nine generals and 500 officers at the rank of lieutenant colonel and above.
