Philadelphia scored three touchdowns in the fourth quarter to come from behind and defeat Washington, maintaining its hold on first place in the NFC East

Philadelphia defeated the Washington Commanders 26-18 on Thursday night. The Eagles' win increased their NFC East lead and improved their win streak to six in a row. They are currently 3-0 in the division after winning their third consecutive game against the Commanders.

The Eagles couldn’t have played more hungover if they’d spent Wednesday night on South Street. The Commanders smelled even worse. The two best teams in the NFC East provided three hours of mostly somnambulant play in a short-week display of why Thursday Night Football is a crime against nature.
