Corvette ZR1X takes American-car Nürburgring lap record
Drew Cattell, vehicle dynamics engineer, completed a 6:49.275 lap in the hybrid all-wheel-drive Corvette ZR1X, the fastest recorded time by any non-professional driver per the Nürburgring’s official records. The result narrowly beats the 6:49.328 lap time set by a Porsche 911 GT3 RS.
