Andhra Pradesh Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan issued a sincere apology for the stampede that resulted in six deaths and many injuries. He emphasized the responsibility of the TTD Board and officials, stressing the importance of avoiding VIP focus and ensuring robust crowd management.

The officials who were responsible for this including the DSP Sri Raman Kumar, In-charge of that point SV Gosala Director Dr Harinath Reddy have been suspended while JEO Goutami, SP Sri Subbarayudu and CVSO Sri Sridhar have been transfered.

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu on Thursday visited the stampede spot in Tirupati that claimed the lives of six devotees and pulled up officials for failing to make proper arrangements for the distribution of tokens.

Six people were killed while several others were injured in a stampede near Vaikuntha Dwara Darshan ticketing centers in Andhra Pradesh's Tirupati on Wednesday.
