Some school districts in central Virginia will be closed or shift to virtual learning on Monday due to severe thunderstorms.
Wind alerts have been issued ahead of tomorrow’s cold front and run until Tuesday at 2:00 AM. Areas could see wind gusts be between 30-40 mph and sustained winds up to 20mph throughout a majority of the day with most of the major straight-line winds running along the front.

Richmond to participate in annual statewide tornado drill
Richmond's City Hall will participate in the statewide tornado drill on Tuesday as part of Virginia Severe Weather Awareness Week.
Storm Team4 forecasted the possibility of a few inches of snow from Sunday into Monday. The snowfall made roads slushy and led to school closures and delays.
