Gotham have acquired star Chelsea winger Guro Reiten, the team announced Thursday, two days before they open their NWSL title defense on the road against the expansion Boston Legacy.

Gotham FC announced the signing of Norwegian midfielder Guro Reiten, a major arrival just two days ahead of the team's first game of the 2026 NWSL season.

The 18-year-old winger joins Chelsea in the summer but is continuing his recovery at Cobham while looking for a future house.
